Description

This is rather a lovely house tucked under the cliff at the top of the village, a really quiet position, with the most tremendous views to the Massif des Maures. It is no more than 100 yds from the centre, yet not exactly part of the village.

Accommodation

The house has been recently renovated to a very high standard, with lovely Provençal features, and maximum comfort. It is a south-facing house, on the third terrace up from the small lane that goes from the centre to the waterfall, and on to the Chapel St. Martin. There is a steep driveway up from this lane, to a garage, and the house. There is also a garden gate and steps up from the same lane to the house.

Inside there are three floors, the ground floor has a wonderful sitting room with a fireplace, and large windows looking south with glorious views. It is large and airy. The dining room is ample, with a TV and music centre. Off this is the beautifully fitted kitchen with everything that you could possibly need: oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, and plenty of utensils. There is also a cloakroom with a WC.

Up to the first floor where there is a bathroom, with bath, WC and hand basin, and a door into the small bedroom with a two single beds. Back on to the landing and there is another door to the second bedroom with a double bed. There is also a door out to the terrace and garden.

Up again to the second floor to the master bedroom with a double bed, dressing room and an ‘en suite’ bathroom with both bath and shower, WC and hand basin. There is a washing machine in the annex.

Outside

The swimming pool is on the terrace below the house. Outside the house on the same terrace is a large tiled area with a Lime tree for shade and table and chairs for eating ‘al fresco’. It is a truly lovely spot for a never-to-forget holiday.
