A new house built in 2001 in typical Provençal style. Just 150 yds from the centre of the village, in a valley under the cliffs. It has the quiet of the country, not overlooked, and wonderful views but within walking distance of the restaurants. Large and spacious with four bedrooms.

Accommodation

The accommodation consists of two floors. One enters on the first floor, where there are three bedrooms one with a double and two with two singles beds, sharing a large bathroom with both bath and shower. Two of these bedrooms share a terrace that overlooks the valley, south facing. Stairs lead down to a large open plan sitting room, dining room, and kitchen. There is and open fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen is well equipped, with oven, gas hob, microwave, and American style fridge freezer, with icemaker, and cold water.

There is a laundry room with washing machine and drier. At the other end of the sitting room is a double bedroom with a bathroom 'en suite'.

Outside

From the dining area there is a door that leads onto the terrace, and the covered terrace with table and chairs, this faces south, and the views over the valley. From here there is a path down to the pool, which is on the terrace below. The garden is ample and on terraces, mainly grass and olive trees. There are several spots that are ideal for evening drinks, or breakfast, in or out of the sun. The swimming pool is 10 x5 metres, unfenced.

Comments

A truly lovely house with wonderful views and handy to the village. The walk up from the village is fairly steep, and so are the paths from the house to the pool. This house would not be suitable for the handicapped.
