A couple of kilometres out of the charming village of Cotignac in the direction of Barjols, in its own grounds, surrounded by woodland, is this Provençal cottage which has been sympathetically restored and extended to make a really comfortable and characterful house. It has plenty of garden around the house, a swimming pool, and is not overlooked.

Accommodation

On the ground floor there is a large and completely new kitchen with everything one needs for cooking good meals from the fresh produce bought in the Tuesday market. The kitchen has a dining area, which has French windows onto the terrace and the pool. Adjoining this is the sitting room with comfortable seating and satellite TV. The entrance hall is large and off this are the master bedroom with en suite bathroom, with bath, shower, WC, and hand basin, and a walk-in closet. There is a second bathroom off the hall for the two upstairs bedrooms. The stairs lead off the hall, this being the oldest part of the house. The two upstairs bedrooms both have double beds (150 and 160 cm) and one has a single bed as well. The house is very attractively furnished and comfortable for six or seven people.

Outside

The garden around the house is extensive and attractively Provencal, and 2 hectares of Olive trees. On the south side is a covered terrace and BBQ. Outside the dining room is a large uncovered terrace, which also surrounds the pool (9x3.5ms). There is plenty of parking space.

Comments

There is a footpath, which joins the road to the village making the walk shorter than around the road.

A laptop is available for the use of the guests with the internet connection.
