A stylish Provencal house recently built to a very high standard, in a superb position within easy walking distance of Cotignac village centre. Yet in a quiet location in the country, on a lane that goes nowhere. It sits in its own grounds on two levels with swimming pool and magnificent views.

Accommodation

From the entrance hall you enter the living room, which is large, at least fifty square meters, with a sitting area, sofa, easy chairs, TV, DVD player and an internet wireless connection. The other end is the dining area for the cooler days. At the far end there are glass doors onto the covered terrace where the table and chairs sit in the hotter months. The kitchen also has glass doors on to this terrace. You want for nothing in the kitchen which is superbly designed with hob, oven, dishwasher, American fridge/ freezer and all the utensils you could possibly need. The laundry room is off the kitchen with a washing machine and a door to the outside.

From the living room there are stairs to the first floor where there are three double bedrooms all with double beds. A shower room and a separate WC. Each bedroom has fitted wardrobes. All the rooms face south with wonderful views. On the ground floor the other side of the entrance hall is one more bedroom with ‘en suite’ shower room. Also, a separate WC.

Outside

On arriving at the house there is a large area with plenty of parking for two or three cars. The house is surrounded by its own grounds on two terraces. On the lower terrace is a swimming pool of around 11 x 4.5 ms, salt water, with a heater and an automatic cover. There are some excellent places around the front of the house, outside, for sunbathing, reading or just enjoying the magnificent view south towards the Massif des Maures.

The village of Cotignac is seven minutes on foot via a footpath, and by car about the same by the road. It is an attractive village with plenty of restaurants, shops and a street market every Tuesday, not to be missed.

PLEASE NOTE: The banisters are made of metal and are not standard so it is possible for a child to fall between the uprights. Also, the pump house for the pool has a roof that children are able to climb on and is not protected in any way. This is not allowed as it is dangerous.

The pool will be open in May but will be available out of season for an extra charge (please ask).

Please Note: The house can only be rented in two-weekly lets.
