Very recently converted stone gites which were once used for stabling horses. The gites have been very tastefully and sympathetically converted into two luxurious holiday dwellings. The owners have retained many lovely features of the original buildings such as the beautiful beamed ceilings. Everything is brand new and just craving to provide you with a peaceful and relaxing, get away from it all break amid lovely countryside scenery. They are set well enough away from the main farmhouse and private. The (charming) owners are away most of the day but on hand should need be. They can be rented separately or at the same time for couples sharing a holiday.
ACCOMODATION – GITE ONE Sleeps 2 Double bed
South facing and overlooking open spaces and woods beyond. There is a terraced area with table, chairs and parasol, perfect for an evening apero and watching the sunset. Inside there is a brand new fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, induction hob and toaster. Dining table and chairs and two armchairs. There is a double bed and the place is designed for open plan living. There is storage for clothes. The interior is nice and cool on hot days due to the thick stone exterior.
The bathroom is en suite and beautifully designed with walk in shower and washbasin, the owners have spared no expensive to create something very lovely here.
The gite is situated approx. 100 metres from the pool which is shared with the neighbours at Gite two across the way.
NB There is no washing machine but the owners will allow access and use of the laundry room in a separate building behind the main house.
Both gites share the same pool which is a little closer to gite two but just a stroll from gite one. The pool is large and luxurious 10m x 5m and 1m 40 depth. There is a large wooden decked lounging area to all four sides. The pool is totally private, receives the sun all day, great for suntan lovers! It is walled all the way around and also has a gate with a child proof safety mechanism.
There is an outside shower, sun loungers, tables and parasols.
St Antonin du Var is a small village approx. 6 Kms from Lorgues and Entrecasteux. The village is lovely with the hotel/restuarant serving as a bar and tabac and access to wi-fi connection. There is a bakers, a post office, a small grocery store and a restaurant. This area is an ideal for ramblers, walkers and cyclists alike. There is some lovely scenery all within walking distance of the gites. It takes approx. 15 mins gentle walking to reach the village.
The gites are situated off an ancient train track ( Le Chemin du Petite Train) which is now accessible by car but also very tranquil for walkers and cyclists.
There is a chateau nearby and you can visit St Tropez , Lac St Croix and Les Gorges du Verdon easily from here.
